The federal government has increased the petroleum levy by Rs20, raising it to Rs80 per liter for High-Speed Diesel Oil (HSDO) and Motor Gasoline, up from Rs60 per liter in FY24. The maximum levy on Light Diesel Oil (LDO), High Octane Blending Component (HOBC), and E-10 gasoline is also increased to Rs75 per liter.
